Making technology easy for everyone

Terms of Service

These terms describe what EasyAssist AI does and what we ask of you. They are written in plain language.

What EasyAssist does

EasyAssist looks at a screenshot you upload and gives you written, step-by-step instructions for what to tap next in an app on your phone. It is a guidance and education service.

What EasyAssist will never do

  • Ask for your banking PIN, OTP, card security code or any authentication code.
  • Take control of your phone or tap anything on your behalf.
  • Complete a payment, transfer or purchase for you.
  • Help with gambling apps, adult content, games, or anything illegal or harmful.
  • Give financial, medical or legal advice.

Your responsibilities

  • Hide sensitive details before uploading a screenshot.
  • Keep your password private.
  • Use EasyAssist for lawful, legitimate apps only.
  • Check important steps yourself, especially where money is involved.

Subscriptions and payment

Plans are billed monthly in South African Rand: Free (R0), Student (R10), Standard (R50), Premium (R100) and Family/Pro (R200). Each plan includes a monthly number of helps; when you reach the limit, you can wait for the next month or move to a larger plan.

Payment is processed by a secure South African payment provider. We do not store your card details. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your Profile, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. The student plan may require proof of student status.

Accuracy and liability

Apps change often, and instructions are generated automatically, so they may occasionally be incomplete or out of date. EasyAssist is provided as a helpful guide, without warranty that every instruction is correct for every phone. To the extent allowed by South African law, we are not liable for loss arising from following instructions, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding month.

Suspension and changes

We may suspend an account that is used for prohibited content or that abuses the service. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
